Inspiration behind "Chillin"

Miri is her name and not the first time I took a photo of her, reading in the Sasquatch Inn, while around her, so much activity. Also, so much atmosphere, and she herself, looking like a story.
I did ask her each time, after I took the photo, if it was okay. Her story is she lives in Squamish, a good distance away, but works with the local First Nations, and stays a stretch here. An artistic person herself, she beads the bands of the hats you see her wearing.
As for my artistic interest beyond her personality, I just saw perception, angles, juxtaposition and flow. Oooooh so exciting beyond that is cold and warm and textures and glass which is something I have never done before. Can I do all of that and do it well?
Asking, when do I blur, when do I sharpen, when do I push and when do I stop?
Through creating art, I have learned that some things are archors and the rest is a free flow. Mayhaps in 10 years I would say something else. It's a mystery and a puzzle of my own experience that happens moment by moment.
May all your moments be filled with happy tension.
Peace in your journey.
Angela
